Bacteria are both enourmously useful and a nuisance. We cannot live without them, either within our bodies or in nature. They metabolize food and waste products into constituents which can be utilized either by us or other living organisms. Unfortunately they can also make us ill and in industrial processes they can cause many problems such as fouling of fluids and surfaces, blocking of filters, off-taste or bad odours.
We can help you find our if bacteria/microbes are the cause of your problems and help you find a solution. We have an inhouse microbiology lab and clean room for class II-species, as well as microscopes, cell counters, qPCR, ATP (luminometer) and cultivation equipment.
